A brand new triple clamp design for the new 2010 CRF250/450 to eliminate the handling issues. Upon testing of the new CRF250R and CRF450R, we realized there were some issues that needed to be addressed, as the bike was very unbalanced. Much time and effort was made by engineers and testers at Applied to make a triple clamp that addressed those issues. With the 24mm offset clamps, the most noticeable difference is the reduction of headshake in high-speed straight-aways. The clamp also allows the bike to have a smoother transition from lean, to upright, and on the gas out of the corners without front-end knifing.
• The clamp still permits the use of the Honda steering damper
• The set is completely CNC machined from 6061 and 7075 billet aircraft quality aluminum, for superior strength and durability and still weighs a half pound (225grams) LESS than stock
• Fork bores are precision machined for a perfect fit and greater clamping surface to reduce fork flex and twist
• Bar mounts are oversized 1 1/8 inch and are reversible to allow for stock bar position, or a more forward and aggressive position
• Optional height bar mounts are available in standard 7/8 inch and oversized 1 1/8 inch
• One piece top strap connects bar mounts at the top to reduce any twisting of handlebar
• The set includes Upper and Lower Triple Clamps, bar mounts, one-piece top strap, bar pad, and all the necessary hardware, steering stem, lower steering bearing and rubber bar mount cones
• Applied clamps are made in the USA in their own facility, and have a lifetime warranty to the original purchaser
