Cosworth, the legendary race engine supplier, has entered into the 4 stroke motocross market, offering high quality piston kits developed from their impressive Formula 1 racing technology.
Cosworth's entrance to the MX scene will enable their performance parts programme to deliver a number of kits during 2010. The first of these is a range of piston kits (available now). The pistons are made from Forged 2618 alloy and feature Anti Scuff & Detonation bands, Accumulator groove, Gas ports, Xylan anti-friction skirt coating, Oil drain holes, Bright polished crown, Smooth blended barrel with optimized cam profile, and a DLC Coated pin.
Additional kits will follow through 2010 and include performance cam shafts and con rods - all developed from the F1 racing technology that made the Cosworth name so well known.
